EXECUTIVE PROFILE

Over 28 years of experience as a computer professional. In 1982 I co-founded my first computer hardware company. The last three years I have been Chief Technology Officer for two government funded behavioral change companies that develop web and CD based products. Currently I work as a senior application developer.

QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS

* Helped propel a 7 person start-up company grow to over 200 employees. This required me to do everything from building desks, Computer Aided Design for PC Boards, Electronic Prototype Assembly, Technical Hiring, Contribution of 8 Original Inventions- in addition to my primary job of creating and managing the IT department.

* Created a multi-continent software build system for a Fortune 100 company. Was instrumental in the selection of their corporate-wide source control system.

* Designed and programmed a software production system that helped eliminate thousands of hours of developer downtime for a Fortune 200 company.

* Created a complete replacement for a non-functional system that cost the Oregon Medical Association over $1 million to develop and install. The new web-based system was highly functional and only cost an additional $70 thousand to create and install. The old system was limited to a single platform, where my solution ran on almost any platform allowing doctors to access the system without having to install new or additional computer equipment.

* Designed, developed and installed client and server software to manage a multi-state restaurant chain. The system integrated seamlessly into their existing enterprise level accounting and point-of-sale systems. The key to the success of the system was an identical format to the prior paper-based system which allowed the managers to effectively use the new software with almost no additional training. This solution allowed the complete removal of a large team of data entry and data verification personnel.
